Project description
The summerhouse was spontaneously built in an old rural orchard during holidays in the summer 2001. Using peeled hazelnut wickers from the nearby game refuge we defined the space – a cube 2.2 m in dimension where one may stay undisturbed, sipping tea or wine and watch life passing by … There is a small stove heating water built in the floor. An old lantern illuminating the space at night sessions defines the centre. Everything is left to natural ageing and slowly blends with the surroundings.
