Project description

The exhibition was the first major posthumous review of the painter. The selection is beside the usual way the work by this unique artist was presented in the past: the retrospective of his artistic works becomes its centre. Petr Volf, the curator of the exhibition, prepared the review of Born’s works as an invitation to Born’s specific world with the goal to cover various artistic disciplines he occupied himself with. We dedicated different rooms and installation techniques to these disciplines selecting them according to themes; the unique colour scheme developed from Born’s paintings winds through the exhibition connecting it in a coherent unit.
